Cakes go back to the Egyptians and through the years have evolved in what we know as cakes today. Earlier cakes looked like biscuits, but with the invention of the leveling products cakes are high and some are gorgeous. These are made of a hard plastic that looks like crystal and these are re-usable. Revolving wholesale cake stands are mainly used for cake decorators, so they can turn the cake as they are putting on the icing and decorations. These ranges are from about twenty to fifty dollars. Of course there are ones that go up as high as five hundred dollars.

There are wholesale cake stands that come with only one tier or many tiers. They are ornate in design or just plain and simple but elegant in style. Metal wholesale cake stands can be quite elaborate with fine engraving; others can be white with different designs such as dots or stripes. Deciding on which wholesale cake stands to buy, think about what you will be using it for. If just for everyday at home use, think about buying an inexpensive one. They all last for years and will do your cake proud.
